| The Episcopal chapel of Primeiros Passo Camp, near Cascavel, Brazil, was destroyed earlier this month by employees of powerful landowners, as part of an attempt to stop Christians standing up for the rights of landless people, it was reported this week. A car belonging to a priest in the area, the Revd Luiz Carlos Gabas, was shot at, and he has been taken into a witness-protection programme |
