On 2 May, the Guild held a dinner during which a presentation was made to the President, Dr Mary Archer, who has just completed 20 years in that office.
On 3 May, a service of thanksgiving and celebration was held in Canterbury Cathedral.
During the service the following were presented with Honorary Awards:
Hon Fellowship (Hon.FGCM): Paul Hale (Southwell Minster); Andrew Lumsden (Winchester Cathedral), in absentia; James MacMillan (Composer); Peter Nardone (Chelmsford Cathedral); Robert Sharpe (Truro Cathedral), in absentia; Richard Tanner (Blackburn Cathedral).
Hon. Membership (Hon. GCM): Katharine Dienes-Williams (Guildford Cathedral); June Williams (Registrar).
