Patriots, step forward
From Mr David Lindsay Sir, — Further to the local elections: had it not been for Boris Johnson’s defeat of Ken Livingstone, the main story would have been that the BNP’s mayoral candidate in London took three times as many votes as the UKIP one (a sitting MEP for London), that the BNP made gains all over the place, and that it now has a list member of the Greater London Assembly. The BNP is on course for at least nine Strasbourg seats next year, one in every English region (UKIP will be lucky to contest every region). It might well take 11 or even 12. Even from nine, it would be a very short step to first past the post in several Westminster constituencies in 2010. For that, as for many other reasons, pro-life, pro-family, pro-worker, and anti-war candidates need to contest the 2009 European elections, in order to give a voice to economically social democratic, morally and socially conservative British and Commonwealth patriots. We need two in each region in Great Britain and, because of the different electoral system there, one in Northern Ireland. A seat in each region is well within our grasp. A Strasbourg breakthrough in 2009 would set us up for a Westminster breakthrough in 2010, when we would need to be only the first past the post in any given constituency, again on an extremely low turnout. So, where are our candidates? I need to know by the end of May 2008. Emails only, please, to davidaslindsay@hotmail.com. DAVID LINDSAY13 Foxhills Crescent, Lanchester Co. Durham DH7 0PW |
