HOLY TRINITY, Millhouses, in Sheffield diocese, has a blank wall behind its altar, ideal for the temporary seasonal banners that Angie Lauener has been organising for about 20 years.

This Easter, she asked her artist daughter, Lucy, who had rediscovered her faith through a commission for another church, to produce some banners. Lucy was happy to do a design based on Ephesians 4.17-24 about discarding the old self and putting on the new.
