First lady: the Revd Roberta Rominger

| The Revd Roberta Rominger is to be the next general secretary of the United Reformed Church. She will be the first woman to lead the URC. She trained in the United States, was ordained in California, and has been a URC minister in Britain since coming here in 1985. She succeeds the Revd Dr David Cornick, who is to be general-secretary of Churches Together in England |
