CHP does new deal
IN A NEW DEAL, announced on Tuesday, Church House Publishing will distribute all its books and products through Norwich Books and Music. This is the new name for the distribution arm of Hymns Ancient & Modern, the charity that owns SCM-Canterbury Press and the Church Times. The new arrangement, which begins on 1 May, will include order processing and customer service, currently split between Marston Books, Church House Publishing, and the Methodist Publishing House. Thomas Allain-Chapman, head of publishing for the Archbishops’ Council, said: “It makes perfect sense, both for our customers and our business, to consolidate warehousing and fulfilment with a single provider who has a strong track record and understanding of our market.” |
