Pakistani at Lambeth

THE Archbishop of Canterbury met the Minister for Minority Affairs of Pakistan, Shahbaz Bhatti, at Lambeth Palace last Friday, to discuss the recent floods and the plight of the country’s Christians.

After the meeting, Dr Williams said: “We have been able to speak about some of the major issues af­fecting interfaith relations in Pakistan, but also about some of the major issues Pakistan faces in the wake of the disastrous and tragic floods.”
