CANON Peter George Cobb, who died on 26 May, aged 73, was a much loved priest and friend to many in his lifetime, and they will long cherish their memories of him.

As a teacher and pastor, he was gentle and yet persuasive, without pomposity. He worked alongside some difficult and strong-minded characters during his ministry, but usually gained their respect and maintained a good relationship with them. ...
