Universal seeks church choir for record deal

THE largest music company in the world has launched a talent search to find Britain’s best church choir.
Universal Music, which handles some of the biggest names in pop, has placed adverts in national newspapers to find the best choir. The winners will sign a record deal with Universal, make an album of “Britain’s best loved hymns”, and perform at the Royal Albert Hall.
