THERE was a telling detail in the accounts of the deaths of three failed asylum-seekers who jumped to their deaths from a 31-storey-high Glasgow tower-block early on Sunday morning a fortnight ago. Before they jumped, they threw out a wardrobe to break through the netting that covered their 15th-floor balcony.
