Tories talk tough on creationism

A CONSERVATIVE Government would take a tough line with schools that taught creation­ism in science lessons, the shadow Education Secretary, Michael Gove, said this week. Independent schools run by extremist religious groups would be subject to tight inspection, he said on The Andrew Marr Show, a political programme on BBC1, last Sunday.
