No illusions about communion with Rome

Sir, — Most Roman Rite parishes do not for a moment consider that they are in communion with the Holy See: they know perfectly well that they are not (News, 25 November; Letters, 2 December).

Furthermore, in my experience, even if they do pray for the Holy Father, they also pray for the Archbishop ...
