REVIEWS of six Roman Catholic dioceses in Ireland by the independent National Board for Safeguarding Children in the Catholic Church (NBSCCC), published on Wednesday of last week, reveal marked improvements in the way in which abuse allegations against clergy are being handled, although criticism remains about the response by some senior clergy.
