Sir, — Paul Vallely’s view (Comment, 16 September) of the language and theology of the new RC mass as “clumsy, wooden, sexist, and archaic” had my vote, but then I was heartened as I read on and learned that “apologists talk of recapturing the mysterium tremendum.”
