WHEN I sat down to write this column, it was going to be about something totally different, but then I learned of the sad death of Enrique Forner. Because this name has never appeared on a wine label, I imagine that it means nothing to the average wine consumer, but he is the man who revolutionised the Rioja wine in­dustry.
