Child protection in Chichester diocese

Sir, — After last week’s arrests of two retired priests in Chichester diocese, which took place with the full involvement and co-operation of diocesan personnel, many people will be looking to us for our reaction, and asking how resolute we are in our commitment to safeguarding children and vulnerable adults and the exposure of wrongdoing.
