Still make room for Guides’ meetings

Sir, - As a former avid Brownie, Guide, and then Sea Ranger at my church in Golders Green in the 1960s, I was saddened at the change to the Guides' Promise. I was more saddened by the comment (Letters, 28 June) that church halls should no longer be available for use by the Girlguiding Movement, as their latest change "publicly cuts out the promise to God taken for nearly 100 years".
